TOPICAL ISSUES RELATED TO THE PREVALENCE OF INTINITIS IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC SUPPURATIVE OTITIS MEDIA

Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) remains a leading cause of progressive hearing loss, deafness,
and the development of intracranial complications. The purpose of this review is to examine the current prevalence of
tinnitus in patients with chronic suppurative otitis media. The review includes scienti c publications from the past 10
years, published in the international databases E-library, Scopus, and Web of Science. Thus, it can be concluded that the
development of methods for managing patients with tinnitus before and after surgical treatment of chronic suppurative
otitis media are relevant.
