Recent clinical and epidemiological studies indicate that olfactory disorders are relatively widespread among the population and arise from a variety of causes. The aim of this study was to evaluate peripheral olfactory dysfunction following viral infections. The study included 80 patients with post-viral peripheral olfactory dysfunction
who received treatment at the Republican Specialized Scienti| c and Practical Medical Center of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Diseases during 2024–2025. The results demonstrated that assessment of post-viral olfactory dysfunction using questionnaires in combination with olfactometry improves diagnostic accuracy.
