MODERN APPROACHES TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF ALLERGIC RHINITIS

Allergy is a pathological form of immunological reactivity, characterized by an abnormal course of the immune response accompanied by damage to the body’s tissues. The aim of this review is to analyze current data on modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of allergic rhinitis. The materials of the review included articles on
allergic rhinitis published over the past 10 years in international databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Thus, the review demonstrated that assessing allergic rhinitis according to its clinical course and severity allows for the
appropriate selection of treatment strategy.
